Lenience UK Ltd as a part from Lenience Ltd. therefore its goals aligned with those of Lenience Ltd. to help healthy climate for the humanity, our current climate target across all facilities owned, rented or leased where Lenience has control unless othereise noted are:-
By 2035, Source 80% of our electricity needs from renewable sources.
By 2040, reduce absolute Scope 1 & Scope 2 GHG emissions 50% (from a 2023 base year).
By 2045, 70% of our suppliers by emissions covering purchased goods and services and upstream transportation and distribution will have science-based targets.
Scope 1: Direct Emissions (Fuel & Company-Owned Sources)
• Transitioning company vehicles to electric or hybrid models to reduce fuel-related emissions.
• Implementing fuel efficiency programs for any necessary combustion-powered vehicles.
• Monitoring and reducing on-site fuel usage (e.g., for heating and manufacturing).
Scope 2: Indirect Emissions (Purchased Energy)
• Upgrading to energy-efficient LED lighting, smart thermostats, and power inverters.
• Prioritising renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power where feasible.
• Reducing electricity consumption through energy-efficient appliances and process optimisations.
Scope 3: Other Indirect Emissions (Supply Chain & Business Operations)
• Green Procurement: Prioritising suppliers that meet sustainability standards and reducing emissions across our supply chain.
• Raw Materials: Sourcing from eco-friendly suppliers and exploring alternative sustainable materials.
• Transportation & Logistics: Optimising delivery routes and working with low-emission logistics partners.
• Employee Business Travel: Encouraging virtual meetings and reducing unnecessary business travel.
• Waste Reduction & Recycling: Implementing circular economy principles to minimize landfill waste and improve material reuse.

Lenience is dedicated to significantly reducing its carbon footprint over the life of our contract with our customers and beyond.
1. Comprehensive Carbon Reduction Policy
• We will implement a formal Carbon Reduction Policy outlining clear strategies and targets aligned with Net Zero 2050.
• This policy will guide decision-making across all business functions and supplier collaborations.
2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Reporting
• We will establish measurable KPIs to track emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3.
• Regular reports will be provided to our customers and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency in our progress.
3. Renewable Energy Adoption
• We will transition to 100% renewable energy sources where possible, including on-site solar panels and certified green electricity.
4. Supply Chain Collaboration
• We will engage with suppliers to reduce emissions across raw materials, logistics, and production.
• Where feasible, we will require suppliers to provide carbon footprint data and adopt emission-reducing practices.
5. Employee Training & Awareness
• Ongoing sustainability training will be provided to employees to promote energy-saving and low-carbon work habits.
• Employees will be encouraged to participate in carbon reduction initiatives, such as car-sharing, cycling, and remote work.
6. Lifecycle Assessment & Eco-Design
• A full lifecycle assessment will be conducted on our products to identify emission hotspots.
• We will explore ways to design and manufacture products with lower carbon footprints.
7. Continuous Improvement & External Collaboration
• We will partner with industry experts, universities, and regulatory bodies to stay ahead of evolving carbon reduction technologies.
• Our strategies will be regularly updated to align with the latest climate policies and best practices.
Declaration and sign off:
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard¹ and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting² in addition to global factors where appropriate.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard³.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the company director.
